This cost effective solution is also used for its flexibility and high tensile strength on thin coat systems. It has increased water resistance and adhesion. It may be applied by hand or by spray and the use of scrim cloth may be required.

K Rend HP12 is a high polymer base coat designed to provide enhanced performance on difficult substrates. The improved formulation delivers increased water resistance and strong adhesion, making it suitable for use on challenging backgrounds. This K Rend base coat can be applied either by hand or spray. In certain applications, the use of a scrim cloth may be required to reinforce the system.

It is intended to be used in the PAREXTHERM Mineral render system, PAREXTHERM and PAREXDIRECT Acrylic render systems. It is suitable for use as an adhesive for bonding the insulations to the substrate and for creating a base coat with mesh.
